Thursday

Portraits

posing voluptuously for a Denny's waitress
my silky hands sweat profusely

underneath my alluring exterior lurks
centuries of abandoned trash
thought to have fused with the earth

Her gaze shifts to my knees,
please, you haven't finished my torso, geez.
That's why you work at Denny's.

the whore

underneath kuala lumper in the glow of magical ferns
there creens a magical whore
and a tribe of beetles
seeming to shimmer in the ruddy light
her sexual desire fused with spite
above, the claws of tigers glint
their slinking steps patter

the whore calls them
they look up in a halt
taking hidden abandoned passages
through the underbrush

they fucked her
until she died

Wednesday

civility

you had seashell nipple piercings
and you were very civil about it
and said you'd handle it the same way
as your brother in another time
and they sent my brother away
'till you robed.

Thursday

on the transparency of broken will

denting the dither cast by my flashlight
sparkling there, spotless by my standards,
a golden sheet of paraffin, untouched by dust.

Not wanting its malleable, sinewy luster
to fade, my hands explored the din surroundings.

"Paraffin," I thought.
Usually not a big deal.
I stray from the feign image.

It's cobwebbery catches the curious black fly.

Under what circumstance am I endowed
the rights of the hero?
To tear away with no regard
for worth or sacredness--
and reveal and arrest that which
is protected by intrinsic temperance?

However, feeling light of conscience,
I sidle to the prize.

My eyes' wanton fervor sully this place.
But, I gotta see.
Falling,
I grab for the glowing golden tape.

I wear this wax as my new skin.

Tuesday

Tribal Qualifications

are unimportant at IBM.
Their ejection a direct result of tribal qualifications.

Wendy's on the other hand,
accepts them--if they are awake
'till one a.m. (so you can eat great)

even late, the tribal blood ululates searchingly.
But at one, they gather in a nearby meadow--
prancing and leaping tall around the tribal flames,

they broil square-shaped heads,
shrinking them for their next shifts.

A Poem: Many meaty men

seem slightly salty-
maybe mealy, malty.
Shallow sight sees
only obstinate objects-
showing something searing.

Oggle of outerspace
and around archives.
Finding feelings, fearing;
outside, only ogres.
Inside, industrial integration-
the tennants tremendous.

How heedlessly handled,
nettles needle niggardly.
Apply appealing adjectives
that teach that
tape tears tenderly.

Minds mend meanwhile-
only open outside.

Don't daunting dealings
parch patience passingly?

Don't daring deeds
eat endlessly, ending
only outside on
the treetops, then
falling, fearlessly forever,
the ties, tired
cords cut cathartically?

Wednesday

Silky Hands

posing voluptuously for a Denny's waitress
my silky hands sweat profusely
underneath my alluring exterior lurks
a dragon, a wagon, a flagon

I'm scaly, can carry a lot and I'm drunk.
Spunk is overrated.

Her gaze shifts to my knees,
please, you haven't finished my torso yet.
That's why you work at Denny's.

A Trip To Norway - A Tribute to Travis Hunter

my trip to norway
in some ways was fulfilling
considering the ice cream social
with the bukake themed women.

The hybrid dreams torn out of a magazine
massage my scalp and keep it warm
the finger of dread, my heart full of scorn.

The fjords call my name,
like drunken nuns calling upon the primal will.
I lead a group of ducklings
to their frigid death,
their dowries and eggs long will I have kept.

I toast Satan in Stockholm,
and travel home, to Connecticut.

Funilingus

Where's the cunnilingus in funiligus?
A funnel funneling sand into a funnel

I Pound Beers For Jesus

I pound beers for Jesus
He's got me working in a mill
It's his cover for his secrets may spill
I sit and I pound
and I work and I sweat.
Jesus giggles.

He says, head down and be kind,
or in-vitro, you'll find the cleansing
of wrath, the indulgence of gluttony,
and the triumph of pride

I sat up one day
and decided to throw my life away
I drank and I smoked
came home late after work,
happier now

I live off his blood
and his giggles

Water-Breather

In between the salty pier planks
a water-breather eats a pest.

Unless it satisfies its pallette,
shall it encounter this abhorred route,
its rage will grow, its rage will show
the seams of abhorred action.

The earth breathes salty, the pattern of fear
a madness sets in on the closest held dear.
The dreams of the sea drop fast like soap,
a new affect remembers little of hope.

Pulsing through each vein, each artery, each cell--
the water breather exhales
from the trappings of hell.

Its rage, as it grows, deep-
sleeps, sleeping, waking, walking soon...

a water-breather eats a pest.

Crepes

Eating crepes on the white house lawn
I dodge camera-surveillance decently
The blades are so welcoming, well maintained
And the crepes, they're so delicious
Especially on the lawn

Duds

Learning about milk duds in basement hallways
Trapped by my teachers, there's no escape
If I try to eat one I'll get expelled
If I try to leave I'll go to hell
I can only hold these duds
my devastated hands chocolaty with rape

Tuesday

snowfall

as beautiful as snowfall gazed at through glass
the subtle breeze gives up to the wind
if the snow feels different in spring,
what element dare console it?

from reflections nested in glass
what is fleetingly perceived
becomes the ideal, a fleeting worldview
captured in the mirrored hallways of the mind

no reason to trust the illusion
but no reason to struggle against it
to look inside, you'd think
"this is me."
but one glimpse beyond
multiplies your thoughts

and is this meta-vision,
or no vision at all?

brain clouds

into each his own.
out of each his isn't.

like breath on the neck
that stings
and shouldn't.

he's sure of himself but not of the date.

and underneath his vigilance,
the spectral glint of nothingness
the delicate flute of the blind singing songs he can't see

as he considers this, a cloud lazes into view.

it floats over his brain but crashes with his skull.
within, the secrets he's been trying to find?

no.
To clash with a cloud,
what little you get!

even so, he feels closer.

cookies

thin as cookie cutters
my lungs lose touch with reality
as i axphixiate, i begin to see
freedom as a technicality.

a cold wind blows over
the savannah, kinda.
last globes of air caress my lips
like bamboo leaves on a panda bear.

The world withers, my vision slithers.
Can I see?
And is it just me, or the lack of air?
The crooked sun sags, the rattle-snakes rise

as my brain sinks, my lips' demise
the animals die around me

oh carl, you're such a kidder--
here I thought I was free

your mama

your mama
in the old days of red wine and hard bread
smoking marijuana in the hammock

She caught the scent of something aromatic.
from the attic, the music bent.
her footsteps transcend her feet,
carried away by the fuel that fuels her herbs.

On the windowpane, the furnace leaks.
the heat seeks a life force to apprehend

In the ashes, broken teeth.

plate society

there is a place
plates go when they rest
a magical village full of lemony zest

to pillage and plunder is not on their minds
to serve a hot dish or to serve other clients

I'd like to think people could go there too
but what suits another isn't chosen by you
if you knew plates, you'd know--

they prefer solitude and independence
bring your plate-empathy to attendance

camoflauge salad

Premium salad doesn't really taste that great--
I drape your body with the sprigs.
You disappear into the forest.
Live bait, salad leaves laid on a plate.

Traveling to the jungle, we film parrots.
we sense movement--what the fuck is that?
A shred of leaf falls on your hat.
They find our bodies all ripped up with carrots.
They think the government is trying to scare us.

salad sandwich in the dreams
and thoughts and screams
don't bring any vinegrettes or creams

Panic in the cities, lettuce in the seams.
Good sense lost to a great mass of leaves.

It's not fair to fear such pretty sprigs,
but death is a pretty strong impetus.

hologram sibilance

outbox. inbox. kleenex ends in x.
we roll up to the grocery store in our el camino.

Pick up juice. Pick up jesus. Pick up jays.
Rollin' out we walk back inside.
Does anyone want a kleenex?
I'll put it in your inbox.
What about juice?
You only drink gin and jesus?
Fuck.

Kleenex cape--most excellent.
Jesus juice--perfect combination, recieved transmission.
I charged the jays to the company account;
According to this, we take these jays.
jays improve work. jay leno improves chins and looks good
in blu ray.

Jay Leno rolls jays. They're called jokes.
Pick up jokes. Pick up dicks.
Jay Leno is sort of a dick.
But not as bad as that bald guy on Letterman.

Fuck, that guy is weird.
Weird ends in x.

doom

I wait behind barriers
to scare you
I'd do anything
to scare you

I pretend to be dead,
I pretend to drool.
Your screams are welcome because
you seldom touch my scales.

All i want is love
or maybe your phone number
or a copy of your apartment key.
A night in your arms?

I can see it from my position,
three kids, and verdant lawn and a kitchen...
wouldn't you love stability?

We could go out at night and look at dead birds
with flashlights and chunky gloves

untitled

we creeped onto the scaffolding
gingerly stepping over tired tampons
the boats were old and smouldering
the curtains were steely snap-ons

a flash from the darkened stink
a whisker twinkled amid the gas
a figure emerged, human and glass
like a picture frame up the ass

our tingles got the better sight
we bolted friendless and maladroit

what was it that we saw that night?
was it you?
